We’re always happy to welcome new interns to the Migration Matters team. As an intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience in communications, social media, events, and project work. Our work spans educational media production and dialogue, so there are plenty of ways to get involved.

We offer flexibility in how interns organize their working hours. In return, we look for people who are reliable, organized, comfortable juggling different tasks, and proactive about communicating with the team.

Good to know: 

• Internships must be part of an official university program or equivalent.
• The minimum duration is 13 weeks (about three months).
• Internships are part-time, usually 15–20 hours per week.
• We usually work in a hybrid format, combining time at a Berlin coworking space with remote work. Fully remote internships may also be possible.
• Unfortunately, we cannot pay interns or cover relocation or travel costs.
• Fluency in English is required; German is a big plus.
