Forschung Trifft Schule Projekt

Liebe Lehrer*innen und Freunde der Bildung in Berlin – wir haben etwas Spannendes für euch und eure Schüler*innen im Alter von 15 bis 18 Jahren: Das Projekt „Forschung trifft Schule – Neue Perspektiven auf Migration und Integration“.
Das Projekt soll die politische Bildung der Schüler*innen zu den wichtigen und aktuellen Themen Migration und Vielfalt durch Workshops und Digital Storytelling erweitern und stärken. Es ist eine großartige Gelegenheit, um differenzierte Debatten und Diskussionen über Migration und Integration zu ermöglichen, Fachwissen aus der Migrations- und Integrationsforschung zugänglich zu machen und gemeinsam mit Expertinnen und Leute aus der Praxis spannende Perspektiven auszutauschen.
Das interaktive Workshop-Konzept wird aus einem Migration Matters Film-Screening, einer Diskussionsrunde und begleitenden Aktivitäten bestehen und wird in Absprache mit den beteiligten Lehrer*innen erarbeitet. Die müssen bis Ende des Jahres stattfinden und dauern ungefähr 4 Stunden. Die sind flexibel und können im Rahmen eines Projekttages oder als Teil einer normalen Unterrichtsstunde stattfinden.

Das Projekt wird im Rahmen des Projektes “WZB Wirkt” durch die Freunde des WZB (Wissenschaftszentrum Berlin für Sozialforschung) sowie von der Landeszentrale für politische Bildung (LPB) unterstützt.

Dear teachers and educators in Berlin – we have something exciting for you and your students aged 15 to 18: The project „Forschung trifft Schule – Neue Perspektiven auf Migration und Integration“ (Research meets school – new perspectives on migration and integration).
The project aims to broaden and strengthen students‘ understanding of current migration and diversity issues through workshops and digital storytelling. It is a great opportunity to facilitate nuanced discussions on migration and integration, to make expertise from migration and integration research accessible, and to exchange perspectives with experts and people with lived experience.
The interactive workshop concept will consist of a screening of Migration Matters videos, facilitated discussion, and accompanying activities, and will be developed in consultation with the participating teachers. The workshops must take place by the end of 2023 and will last approximately 4 hours each. They are flexible and can take place as part of a project day or as part of a normal lesson.
